AMF LAB: CHEMICAL TESTS
Often the times and demands of the fashion industry are not compatible with the timing of generalist analysis laboratories. Other times, moreover, the particularity of the products requires specific expertise in the sector that large laboratories do not possess. AMF Lab can carry out all the chemical tests required by the sector, including, for example, nickel release, total metal content, extractable metals, pH, formaldehyde, etc. In addition, our expertise is manifested in the processing phase, in the search for increasingly high-performance materials.

AMF LAB: PHYSICAL TESTS
AMF can also carry out most of the required performance tests in-house, including moist heat, turbulation, "China" test, fading test, wear test, synthetic sweat resistance, etc. AMF customers use this service for items produced by AMF, as well as for items produced by others: this is to be able to take advantage of reduced times, but above all for the valuable advice provided by our laboratory technicians.
QUALITY CONTROL AND TRACEABILITY
A solution that works for a certain form or function can lead to the opposite result under different conditions: for this reason, each production division in AMF has specific departments dedicated to quality control. Testing is a general good practice to make sure that parts are in line with needs, even under stressful conditions. In particular, for the articles that should be applied, tests are essential, both during development and in production controls. Performance testing is part of quality best practice: "when and what to test" is a key point. In addition, traceability – for example, in electroplating – allows us to further increase the safety of the production cycle and finished product.
And when the entire industry is faced with the most difficult quality issues – for example, a necessary material change – reverse engineering is the ideal solution: the high-performance SEM microscope in our laboratory is also available to our customers to go into detail about the metallographic section.
