ESPACE D’O

AMF Group has opened its new space for creative contamination where fashion has always been synonymous with culture, revolution, and lifestyle. Located at the Palais Royal, in the heart of Paris, ESPACE D’O epitomises the solid creative and entrepreneurial connection between Italy and France, Venice and Paris. This is where history meets innovation, and constellations of expertise and collaborations give life to new creations.

ESPACE D’O houses AMF Group’s offices, a metalworking atelier, The Restory luxury aftercare service, AMF Group’s pastry chef Andrea Tortora’s high-end confectionery shop, and the Chaînothèque, the precious archive that preserves 120 years of fashion and theatre history.

Being sensitive to beauty – artistic or natural – is for AMF both a precondition and a result of working with the Fashion Industry. Events such as IMAGINARIUM, born from the collaboration with Swarovski Gemstones, are the natural consequence: splendid stage jewels worn by Maria Callas, on display in our headquarters with an elegant minimal setting and an immersive atmosphere. This is just one of the examples of our desire to read the Fashion Industry in a broader horizon, creating synergies between excellences.

Sustainability as an ingredient of the brand. More than a prevailing flavor, the element that gives meaning to the whole and gives it that unmistakable taste, which you immediately recognize and appreciate over time. This is the ingredient that designer Matthew M. Williams, a disruptive, atypical and transversal figure in contemporary fashion, founder of the ALYX brand and Artistic Director of Givenchy, has found in AMF. So much so that we were involved in the workshop on sustainability that innovates, developed at the HXOUSE think-center in Toronto, Canada.

You talk about ingredients and you think of great cuisine. And to the typically Italian ability to combine tradition and innovation – learning to mix genuine ingredients in new, surprising recipes. This is why cooking becomes much more than a metaphor for AMF. And the maître pâtissier Andrea Tortora much more than an innovator of taste – rather, one of our mentors and inspirers in the ancient ars combinatoria. A travel companion when the senses, duly educated and stimulated, open the mind to the new.

And so in our creative mix and in the tailor-made events that we love to organize for our customers, the contribution of Professor Domenico Biscardi is hardly missing: journalist and professor at the École du Louvre, he is our reporter to discover the intertwining of culture between Italy and France.
